To train future professionals to
Masters and PhD level, providing them with high-level general, scientific and technical skills which will allow them to occupy positions of responsibility in industry, industrial research and the public services

Highly selective entry.Students selected are from the top 5% of science students.
Classes are small in order to keep the Schools at a human scale.

Teaching methods include:

There is a variety of choice in Graduate programs, which result in 3 types of diploma:
PhD, only available to those students already having completed a Masters program
Three types of Masters programs:
The Diplôme d'Ingénieur (Joint Master's - Double Major in Engineering and Management).
a Master Recherche (MSc), prerequisite for a PhD (the student can follow this program while studying for certification as a professional engineer)
a Master Professionnel (MEng) specialized for students who already have a Master's or Bachelor's Degree and previous professional experience.
Mastères spécialisés (Post-Master's programs)
It consists of 400 hours of academic study followed by an internship(industrial thesis)

The international dimension is an integral part of the graduate school
Partnerships with over one hundred universities in North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia including over ten double diploma agreements signed with Europe and North America.
Every French student carries out a part of their studies abroad (academic exchange with transfer of credits, double diploma in partnership with another university, internships within a company or a research laboratory, etc.)
A strong foreign student population. The number of foreign students is continually increasing, reaching today almost 20% of the student body.
