Make sure you have a valid passport.
You need a visa. You will need an extended stay visa for periods of more than 3 months. Go to your nearest French Consulate for full details on procedure and required documents.
Prepare a certified photocopy and certified translation of your birth certificate. You will need this for your resident's permit (Carte de séjour).
You will need proof of financial resources.
No specific requirements for UE students.
The International Office of your GEM school will provide additional information on request to facilitate your departure preparations.
You will need to apply for a Carte de séjour (Resident's permit) on arrival. The International Office of your GEM school will help you with this procedure.
