International Partnerships

Over the years the 7 GEM schools have individually built strong links with close to 250 partners representing 340 agreements (institutional, Socrates and Double Diplomas). Since December 2002, however, the GEM has established partnerships in the name of all the schools together and thus has positioned itself as one of the foremost institutes of technology in France.

- 6% of the 3600  « Diplôme d'Ingénieur » students (Joint Master's in Engineering and Management)
- 20% of the 1000 doctoral students 50% of  students in the specialized programs
- 50% of  students in the specialized programs

 International exposure for GEM students
Approximately 12% of GEM « Diplôme d'Ingénieur » students  do a period of study abroad, usually in their final year. Most of the students also carry out an internship abroad in a company or in one of the GEM partner laboratories.

 International recruitment
International recruitment is a GEM priority. By recruiting international students of high caliber the GEM aims to become a truly international group with a target of 30% of its student population coming from abroad.
To ensure a high-level international student intake, a rigorous selection process has been set up  via a written and oral examination.
For scholarships and grants early application to the French Embassy is strongly recommended.
