Control and filtering
The non-linear system theory consists in studying the links between the algebraic and geometrical structure of controlled dynamics systems and the synthesis of control laws, in order to achieve predetermined objectives.
Robust regulation of systems around an operating mode
We investigate control laws, whether static or dynamic, whereby the state of a given system approaches and remains within the neighbourhood of a desired operating model (point of equilibrium, specific trajectory).
Optimization and networks
The main purpose of this project is to study complex systems, either on account of their size, spatial structure, temporal structure or random nature.
Discrete event systems
The term "discrete event systems" encompasses systems whose dynamics are essentially governed by synchronization phenomena and whose performance depends on the way in which competition is organized (scheduling and routing policies).
Multiresolution systems analysis
The structure of the results of linear multiresolution approximations has been extended to algebraic results. Such algebra is the result of polynomial functions the product of which is calculated by Hermite interpolation. Research bears more particularly on the case where interpolation occurs symmetrically between two points whose distance is equal to the scale of the elementary table.
