> Industrial Economics Centre (CERNA)
CERNA can be defined as the industrial economics research laboratory at the École des Mines de Paris . Industrial economics deals with the processes by which companies and markets operate and the role played by the State in those processes.
As practised at CERNA, industrial economics comprises an inductive approach reflecting current problems. Research is largely based on surveys conducted within companies and government agencies and on detailed case studies. These surveys provide the material for theoretical reflection and vice versa.
